A portion of N Franklin Street between E Twiggs Street and E Zack Street will close on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 for building maintenance. A private contractor will be placing a crane on N Franklin Street between E Twiggs Street and E Zack Street to replace roof on the Wilson Building. N Franklin Street between E Twiggs Street and E Zack Street will close at 9 am beginning on January 5, 2021.
The sidewalk in the construction area will be closed. Pedestrians will be detoured to other sidewalks in the area via signage.
All lanes on N Franklin Street between E Twiggs Street and E Zack Street will reopen by 6 pm on Saturday, January 16, 2021, weather permitting.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid congestion.
