A portion of W Bay to Bay Boulevard between S West Shore Boulevard and S Manhattan Avenue will close beginning on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 for utility construction. A City of Tampa contractor will be installing a water main and associated services on the southern “fork” of W Bay to Bay Boulevard between S West Shore Boulevard and W Bay to Bay Boulevard.
The southern “fork” of W Bay to Bay Boulevard between S West Shore Boulevard and W Bay to Bay Boulevard will close at 7 am on January 6, 2021.
It is anticipated that all lanes on W Bay to Bay Boulevard between S West Shore Boulevard and W Bay to Bay Boulevard will reopen to traffic by 7 pm on Monday, January 25, 2021, weather permitting.
The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternate routes to avoid traffic congestion.
Westbound and eastbound motorists can use the northern “fork” of W Bay to Bay Boulevard or W El Prado Boulevard between S West Shore Boulevard and S Manhattan Avenue, in lieu of the southern “fork” of W Bay to Bay Boulevard at S West Shore Boulevard.
