Due to more extensive repairs needed to complete this work, the outside southbound lane on Bayshore Blvd will remain closed between West Julia St and West Mason St while the Tampa Water Department completes repairs from an earlier water main break. Barricades and signs are located in the area to assist with traffic flow. Please use caution when driving in the area. Modifications may be necessary during the course of the work.
The completion of the work with a return to normal traffic patterns is now expected by 5pm, Monday, September 26. All lanes will reopen to traffic by 5pm, Friday, September 23 and then close again on Monday, September 26, at 9am to continue the work. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions. The staff and crews of the Tampa Water Department appreciate everyone's patience during this time.
