Recap - A department contractor will close a portion of the southbound lane on S West Shore Boulevard between W Bay Avenue and W Montgomery Avenue to begin repairs on a manhole ring and cover. Signage will be located onsite to assist with rerouting traffic. Safe access to homes and businesses will be maintained.
This repair, including restoration of the work area, is scheduled for completion by close of business on September 30, weather permitting. A high-resolution map of the work area and lane shifts is embedded below. The City of Tampa recommends that motorists use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
