Foodies rejoice! The highly anticipated Harpoon Harry’s Crab House has officially opened at the Tampa Convention Center. Sure to be a favorite for convention-goers and locals alike, Harpoon Harry’s offers a casual atmosphere with an upscale dining experience.  

The menu includes a number seafood favorites from fresh grouper to calamari, lobster, and even a sushi bar. At the heart of the menu, is their wide range of crab dishes. From king crab, to snow crab, stone crab claws sourced in the Florida Keys, and of course, Tampa’s favorite—deviled crab.  

With its prime location near our Franklin St Entrance, Harpoon Harry’s will offer a unique dining experience for convention-goers as they visit Tampa Bay.

Transforming 18,000sqft of Convention Center Storage Space

Harpoon Harry’s has transformed 18,000sqft of former convention center storage space into a lively and up-scale restaurant. This multi-million dollar projected allowed the owners to carry out their vision for the eatery, which included an open-air concept, two levels with balconies overlooking Franklin Street, hand-carved wooden details made with Tennessee lumber, and more.

One of the most unique features of the restaurant, perhaps, is the use of a 1926 Chevy truck for their main bar. A 10-ft tall blue and green crab is also mounted on the face of the building, welcoming all to come inside for a bite to eat.
