Happy Independence Day! This 4th of July, the City of Tampa will debut its newest community event, an Independence Day celebration and firework spectacular titled

Boom by the Bay. The event will bring together locals and visitors alike with fun activities, live entertainment, and, of course, a massive firework display spanning 2.5 miles along Tampa’s waterfront.

The firework shows will launch from four different locations—including here at the Tampa Convention Center’s waterfront. The locations include:

  • Tampa Convention Center/The Sail
  • Sparkman Wharf
  • Julian B Lane Riverfront Park
  • Armature Works/Waterworks Park

Convention-goers are invited to join us here for live music, mouthwatering food, innovative drinks & a prime firework viewing area will be set up in our circle drive and near The Sail.

Party in the USA:

Start the party with DJ Daniel Vargas from 12-4pm & end the perfect day with Acoustic Thunder from 8pm-12am. Grab a drink from The Sail or one of the several bars outside our building.

Red, White & BBQ:

The Sail & Bay Bistro will be serving up their usual delicious eats until 5pm – then, guests can enjoy local-favorite 4 Rivers Smokehouse BBQ. Choose from BBQ pork, brisket or chicken sandwiches with side dish options like macaroni salad, chips & potato salad.

Baby You’re a Firework:

We have a prime firework viewing area right outside our building. The show is scheduled to start at 9pm. Don’t forget to bring a chair or blanket!
