Get ready to #BeInspired! The Warrior Games have officially begun and the Tampa Convention Center is proud to host a number of sporting events at our facility.
The Warrior Games are a Paralympic-style competition that highlights the impressive athleticism, perseverance, and fight spirit of wounded warriors across the globe.
This year, USSOCOM (based out of MacDill Air Force Base) is hosting this competition, bringing approximately 300 wounded, ill, and injured service members, veterans, and their families to Tampa. Team include service members from the US Army, Marines, Air Force, Navy, SOCOM, the United Kingdom, Australia, Denmark, Canada, and The Netherlands.
Competitions include archery, wheelchair basketball, rugby, powerlifting, rowing, and other adaptive sports. All sporting events are FREE to spectate.
