Evangelist RV Brown is founder and President of Outreach to America's Youth, Inc. (O.T.A.Y.).   

RV taught special education for several years in the Chattanooga Public School System.  He has a gift for coaching and has coached athletes at multiple high schools, including Brainerd High School (football and girls' basketball), Howard High School (football, basketball, and wrestling), and football at Hixson High School. He was voted Baseball Coach of the Year for Chattanooga City Schools in 1983. 

RV accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior in November of 1977.  The Lord called him into full time Evangelism in 1988 and gave him the vision to found Outreach to America's Youth, Inc. He travels throughout the world sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with all people. He carries the message of O.T.A.Y to churches, prisons, retreats, camps, conferences, college campuses, middle and high schools. 

In 2003, RV received the honor of being inducted into the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Hall of Champions. 

​RV is a native of Cayce, South Carolina, where he grew up in a family of 17 brothers and sisters. He played football at South Carolina State University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He received certificates of training from Community Intervention, Inc. and a certificate from Morehouse School of Medicine and Drug Abuse in the Community. 

RV Brown is the author of several books: Breaking the Chain, Commission to PRAY for A Nation and Step Up to The Plate, Dad!  He resides in Tampa with his wife, Frances, their two children, Xavier, and Sommer, and five grandchildren.
