The City recently completed preliminary design and concept development for a complete streets project along Lois Avenue from Kennedy Blvd. to Boy Scout Blvd. The Concept Study identified bicycle and pedestrian connectivity issues and established the feasibility and potential lane configurations required to add 4 Ft. bike lanes. The study also included a concept level review of drainage, transit, pedestrian connectivity, safety, traffic calming measures and provided recommendations for selected improvements. As other corridor improvements are defined, the City will conduct public involvement and community outreach to share with, and solicit input from, the residents of the surrounding Carver City/Lincoln Gardens and MacFarlane Park neighborhoods.
