With our commitment to providing the most advanced and efficient services to the public, the City of Tampa’s Accela system will soon undergo an extensive upgrade. To allow for all necessary updates, the system will be unavailable beginning Thursday, March 31, 2022 from 5:00 PM EST thru Monday, April 4, 2022 6:00 AM EST.
During this time, Citizen Access will be offline and the following will be temporarily suspended: Permits and License Applications, Scheduling and Inspection Requests, Code Enforcement Complaints and Business Tax Payments.
Once the upgrade has been completed and Accela is brought back online, users will not observe any visual differences. However, internally, the system will have experienced significant improvements that will only enhance the customer experience.
