Tampa Fire Rescue

Summary

Tampa Fire Rescue provides essential service in the areas of fire prevention, fire protection, fire suppression services, and emergency medical services for the seriously ill and injured. Tampa Fire Rescue also provides hazardous materials response, aircraft rescue, marine firefighting, and fire and life safety education to the public. The Fire Marshal's office, a division of Tampa Fire Rescue, investigates causes of fire, conducts building code reviews, and enforces fire and life safety codes.

Tampa Fire Rescue is a participant in the Insurance Service Office Protection Classification Program with a PPC classification of 02/2X.

HURRICANE IAN RELIEF DRIVE

Hurricane Ian relief

The City of Tampa will host a donation drive to help families impacted by Hurricane Ian. Drop-off sites will open across the city, beginning on Monday, October 17. 

DROP-OFF SITES (HOURS: 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM)
10/17 - Himes Avenue Sports Complex (4407 S. Himes Avenue) 
10/18 - MacFarlane Park – (1700 N. MacDill Avenue) 
10/19 - Al Lopez Park – (4801 N. Himes Avenue)
10/20 - New Tampa Rec Center - (17302 Commerce Park Blvd.) 
10/21 - Perry Harvey Sr. Park – (1000 E. Harrison St.)

The public is also invited to drop off items Monday, October 17 through Friday, October 21 from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM at the Tampa Fire Supply, located at 3507 E. 21st Avenue. 

Community members are asked to bring NEW ITEMS ONLY, including: 

  • Water/Food Items (non-perishable) 
  • Baby Formula 
  • Flashlights 
  • Batteries 
  • Paper Towels 
  • Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, Mouthwash, Deodorant, and other toiletries 
  • Diapers and Wipes 
  • Toilet Paper 
  • Pillows, Blankets, Sheets, and Comforters 
  • Cleaning Supplies 
  • New Clothing  
  • Tarps

Pay Your EMS Bills Online

How to EMS Billing

Tampa Fire Rescue has transitioned to a new online processing system, creating a faster and more secure way to view and pay your EMS bill and more. 

The new system, Digitech, provides expert EMS billing and technology. It uses automated, secure payment methods that you can complete from your mobile device or cell phone. 

Credit cards accepted include American Express, Mastercard, Discover and Visa. Customers will be able to pay invoices dating back to June 1, 2021.
