About the City of Tampa

Employee Spotlight: Adri Colina

Adri has earned a birds-eye view of City government throughout her inspiring career, as she worked her way up the ranks while going to school in the evenings to earn her degree. She was the first in her family to go to college. She has worked as a Growth Management Supervisor, Employee Relations Specialist, and served for 5 years as the Chief of Administration for Tampa Solid Waste & Environmental Program Management. She’s also a proud 3rd-generation Tampa native. "I work for the City I LOVE!" she says.

Take a ride with Fabian, one of our fully-automated solid waste truck drivers, in honor of National Waste and Recycling Workers Week. 🙏♻️

Not only do our Solid Waste drivers keep Tampa clean, but they’re also the eyes and ears out in the community. The build strong relationships with the residents they serve and always report if they see a problem.
