Purpose:
North Downtown is emerging as a key area for future development. The North Downtown Vision Framework guides coordinated investment to support growth, connectivity, and redevelopment in Tampa’s northern downtown core. The framework identifies opportunities to improve mobility, walkability, and urban form while supporting mixed-use and infill development.
Next Steps:
The City is advancing concept-level planning for priority improvements, including the Orange Avenue/Tampa Core Connector corridor, and evaluating funding opportunities to support implementation. The next steps are to prioritize projects, pursue funding opportunities, coordinate with partners, and advance toward design and implementation.
