Purpose:

ReLeaf, formally known as Planting in Public Spaces, is a City program under Trees for Tampa that offers a comprehensive approach to increasing tree canopy along streets, in parks, and in other publicly owned land. The effort is led jointly by City Planning and the Sustainability and Resiliency Department.

Phase I - Design:

Phase I of ReLeaf is the design phase of this program. Through the collaboration with contractors, the City Planning team is coordinating on the designs of public tree planting in the Davis Islands Trail, Nuccio Parkway, Ybor, and West Tampa. These designs will help inform the types of trees and where to put them during the implementation phase.
