Overview:

Tampa Family Health Centers (TFHC) hosts an interactive stretching for gardeners class. Fitness instructors will share ideas about why stretching is helpful, how to hold a stretch, and answer your questions about stretches. Stretching and flexibility are important, especially as we get older.

Visit our WellFed table from 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM and taste samples of easy and delicious recipes. Feeding Tampa Bay will provide groceries as part of our Groceries on the Go event.

Complete the outdoor, garden scavenger hunt as an individual, family or team and win a fun prize!

Registration:

This is a free class. TFHC will provide the materials, but registration is required.

Please note: Call or email Nicole Pinson, npinson@hcnetwork.org or 813-459-3831, TFHC Garden Manager, to reserve your spot. Space is limited to 50 participants.

Event Location:

The class begins at 10 AM. We will be outdoors on the lawn at the Tampa Family Health Centers Community Garden. The parking lot is across the street from the center and located North of Osborne Ave./West of 22nd St.

There is a sign in front of the lot that says employee parking lot and you’ll see raised garden beds. This is where you can park. Please call Nicole Pinson, Garden Manager, if you need more information or assistance.

We have a water cooler and snack machine, but we don’t have cups, so please bring a beverage or your refillable water bottle. You may want to wear a hat and sunscreen.
