The Hillsborough Transportation Planning Organization, in partnership with local agencies and community organizations, will host the annual Community Air Monitoring Network (CAMN) Summit—a gathering focused on how communities across Hillsborough County are working together to better understand local air quality near interstates, with a focus on where people live, learn, work, and gather.
This year’s summit will:
- Celebrate the establishment of 22+ community-hosted air monitoring sites
- Showcase health, mobility, and environmental initiatives led by partner agencies
- Highlight community perspectives on how air monitoring is being used to raise awareness and support local decisions
- Share opportunities and tools to learn about and support the long-term sustainability of community air monitoring efforts in Hillsborough County
