Hillsborough County June 5 Disaster Recovery Education Meeting Flyer

Hillsborough County expects to receive a $709,324,000 allocation from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) to assist with recovery and mitigation efforts related to the disasters from 2023 and 2024. The grant will help local communities and neighborhoods with the greatest unmet long-term recovery needs.

The County is in the early planning stages and will seek input from residents, community partners, and local municipalities to develop an Action Plan for the proposed use of funds.

Community members are also invited to provide their input via an online survey between June 4-July 7, 2025 at: https://publicinput.com/cdbgdrsurvey
