Teen Stay & Play Culinary Class

The City of Tampa invites youth to experience the excitement of cooking, learning, and leading through our fantastic culinary program, offered at Stay & Play locations across the city! Our hands-on program teaches more than recipes – campers build leadership, sharpen public speaking skills, practice teamwork, and explore the arts and science of fine foods.

Working together in small groups, youth learn how to plan, prepare, and present delicious dishes while striving for one shared goal: creating a plate of perfection. We cover kitchen safety, healthy food choices, and sanitary and safety measures for food and utensils.

Every session is designed to inspire confidence, responsibility, and fun, all while encouraging young chefs to discover new talents and flavors.
