Learn the skills to help protect yourself, your family and your neighborhood during emergencies.

The City of Tampa's Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training equips residents with practical emergency preparedness skills that complement the work of first responders during major emergencies and disasters. This free three-day certification course includes hands-on instruction to teach participants basic disaster response, fire suppression, light search and rescue, basic medical operations, disaster psychology and more. 

Attendance during all three (3) training days at the Fair Oaks Complex Community Center are required to participate.

August 14 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

August 15 & 16 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This course has a limited number of seats. Pre-registration is necessary.
