Required Short Essay

What is it about the Mayor’s Youth Corps that interests you? How do you see yourself contributing to the program? Your response is limited to 500 words and must be double spaced in 12 point Times New Roman font. Please type your response separately and upload it as a file.

Required References

Please submit two references. Both references should come from people who are familiar with your background and who have served as an employer or an advisor/leader of a school related and/or community organization/religious institution or club that you have been a part of while in school. It is recommended, but not required, that only one of your references is or has been your classroom teacher. References may not be from anyone related to you.

Please ask your references to return their form directly to the office of the Youth Corps Coordinator. References should be confidential and therefore not be submitted with your application.
