Bayshore Gardens

Bayshore Gardens was plotted in 1906. Today Bayshore Gardens is truly a neighborhood of diverse housing options. In keeping with the diversity there remains a true feeling of community. Neighbors take care of the older citizens who have been in their homes since the 1920 - 30's, who are now the local historians for the neighborhood. Front porch gatherings are common. The beautiful Fred Ball Park is the cornerstone for the neighborhood, with swinging benches, a gazebo, a spring fed pond built in 1906, wonderful views of Bayshore Boulevard and Hillsborough Bay; this 100 year old gem is a lush green oasis.
