Learn how trees contribute to cooler, healthier neighborhoods at Rooted in Tampa: Tree Town Hall on Saturday, January 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the City Center at Hanna Avenue (2555 East Hanna Avenue).

This interactive, family-friendly event kicks off the 2026 Mayor’s Neighborhood University Saturday Session series with myth-busting conversations, hands-on maintenance tips, and clear guidance on tree funding, permitting, and City planting programs.

Explore different tree species, enjoy kid-friendly activities, receive a free tree, and gain practical knowledge on planting and maintaining trees in your community.
