Resolution making certain changes in the budget of the City of Tampa for the fiscal year ending September 30, 2025; approving the transfer, reallocation, and/or appropriation of $334,748.48 for the Comprehensive Infrastructure for Tampa’s Neighborhoods Project for use by Infrastructure and Mobility Administration Department within the Central Tampa Tree Trust Fund, South Tampa Tree Trust Fund, and Citywide Capital Project Improvements Fund; providing an effective date. Motion: (Hurtak-Miranda) That staff be requested to come back with a substitute resolution on January 22, 2026 under Staff Reports and Unfinished Business, for $210,000 to be allocated for the Comprehensive Infrastructure for Tampa’s Neighborhoods Project for use by Infrastructure and Mobility Administration Department within the Central Tampa Tree Trust Fund, South Tampa Tree Trust Fund, and Citywide Capital Project Improvements Fund. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion: (Hurtak-Miranda) That staff be requested to come back with a substitute resolution on January 22, 2026 under Staff Reports and Unfinished Business, for $125,000 to be allocated for the Comprehensive Infrastructure for Tampa’s Neighborhoods Project for use by Infrastructure and Mobility Administration Department from FY25 Surplus funds. Motion: (Hurtak-Miranda) That staff be requested to bring a proposed resolution for a code amendment on February 19, 2026 under Staff Reports and Unfinished Business, limiting funds in the tree trust fund to Type 1 and Type 2 Trees only. Motion carried Unanimously.
