Purpose:
Following a City Council motion in September 2019, a request was made to develop an approach for establishing neighborhood commercial district plans. The Neighborhood Commercial District Plans. The districts aim to identify wide-scale and replicable strategies that enable and encourage neighborhood-serving commercial development in low-intensity residential areas. The objective is to work with established systems and policies, utilizing existing levers.
