Purpose:

The Palma Ceia Commercial District connects a variety of people, places, and opportunities. The district links local businesses to adjacent and nearby neighborhoods, such as offices, retail, commercial, and religious uses. The Palma Ceia Commercial District plan establishes a vision for the 0.5-mile stretch area and identifies specific improvements that will position the Palma Ceia Commercial District as a vibrant, mixed-use neighborhood commercial center.

Key Findings:

The City of Tampa conducted a study on the development of a neighborhood commercial district in Palma Ceia. Recommendations in this plan enhance the public realm, reimagine the roadway, resilient and organized infrastructure, public safety, urban parking management, and land use and design standards.
