Purpse:
The City of Tampa Urban Forest Management Plan (UFMP) was accepted as the Strategic Plan for the management of Tampa’s Urban Forest in November 2013. To ensure continued progress and implementation of UFMP, it calls for the creation of a Natural Resource Advisory Committee (NRAC), which will consist of a balanced representation of members from a variety of government, business, and neighborhood interests. The purpose is to address issues to promote government efficiency by annually reviewing the Urban Forest Management Plan audit and make recommendations on the alternatives for action to be addressed to the Planning Department.
