Veterans Health Hackathon

The annual three-day Veterans Health Hackathon brings together Veterans, clinicians, technologists, entrepreneurs, and innovators to form interdisciplinary teams that ideate, build, and pitch AI-powered solutions to VA’s top strategic priorities and complex challenges in Veteran care—from clinical decision-making to operations and patient outcomes.

The Hackathon creates a fast-paced, collaborative environment where creativity, emerging technologies, and a commitment to service drive transformative innovation for Veteran care. The most promising concepts advance to the next stage of the Veterans Health Venture Studio innovation cycle.

Seasoned mentors will guide teams as they address real-world problems. Independent judges will then evaluate each team's concept, with winners advancing to additional stages for further concept validation and prototype solution.

This event is open to any innovator looking to advance Veteran health care. The priority application deadline closes October 28, 2026 with a rolling application period until November 4, 2026.
