Facility Management Division

The Facility Management Division provides safe, functional, and well-maintained environments that support employees, visitors, and the community. The division oversees the planning, maintenance, and daily operation of City facilities, ensuring they remain efficient, resilient, and aligned with organizational goals.

Responsibilities include building maintenance, preventive maintenance programs, custodial services, space planning, facility improvements, and operational support. Through proactive asset management, the division works to extend the life of City facilities, reduce operating costs, and create spaces that enhance productivity and service delivery.

In partnership with City departments and external service providers, the division prioritizes responsive customer service, sustainable practices, and timely project execution. From routine repairs to major renovation projects, the team is committed to maintaining facilities that are reliable, safe, and capable of meeting the community's evolving needs.

Annually, the division processes more than 21,150 work orders across over 700 citywide locations, managing approximately 7.8 million square feet of space.
