Melinda J. Moore, 25, was found deceased in the bedroom of her residence at 215 E Kentucky Ave. on the afternoon of November 1, 1998. The preliminary findings of the investigation indicate that Ms. Moore sustained multiple injuries consistent with blunt force trauma, confirming that she was violently beaten. Information gathered at the time suggested she may have been involved in an argument with a male acquaintance earlier that day.
