On May 02, 2013, Misti Whitfield was last seen in the area of West Hillsborough Avenue and North Rome Street. She was walking alone towards her home. Her family and friends reported her missing after not being able to contact her for several days, which was unusual for her. After an exhaustive search for her, Misti Whitfield was discovered deceased on October, 24, 2014 in a shed near the location she was last seen. She was determined to be the victim of a homicide.
