The Reconnection Center at Hanna is a hub established by the City of Tampa to provide services for young adults and career changers by leveraging access to high-potential career pathways. The center functions as a one stop facility, bringing partner agencies, training providers, and support organizations into a single physical space. The Center’s goal is to eliminate fragmentation, ease access while reducing barriers in a coordinated, synergistic environment – eliminating the need to travel multiple locations to receive similar information and exposure. Partners will be considered on a rolling basis with consideration of eight established service categories as outlined in this application.  If you are interested in becoming a partner, please complete the application form below.

Service Alignment:


The following eight service categories define the strategic scope of the Reconnection Center. Partner applications must demonstrate clear alignment with at least one category.

WORKFORCE BOARD: Core workforce development programming and labor market connectivity.
EDUCATION & TRAINING: Academic instruction, skills training and credentialing pathways
STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES: Tutoring, academic advising, financial aid navigation and related supports.
WRAPAROUND SUPPORT: Social services addressing barriers such as housing, transportation, childcare and mental health.
MENTORSHIP & COACHING: One-on-one or group mentoring, professional coaching and personal development.
REGISTERED APPRENTICESHIPS: Formally registered earn while you learn programs with structured skill development.
INTERNSHIPS AND ON-THE-JOB TRAINING (OJT): Employer connected experiential learning and paid work based training opportunities.
JUSTICE INVOLVED YOUTH SERVICES: Specialize programming and reentry support for young people with justice system involvement.

6. Do any principals or personnel of the organization have relatives currently employed by the City of Tampa or City Council?

9. I understand all partner personnel operating at the Reconnection Center are required to successfully pass a Level II background check as a condition of participation.
10. The Center hours of operation are 8am-5pm, Monday -Friday.  Please select the days and times your agency will be present.
