The region is under a Phase 1 Water Shortage Order. Conserve water by following the City of Tampa's mandatory once-a-week watering restrictions, which are enforced year-round.

Stop Utility Service

If you are moving to another location and need to arrange to have your service discontinued:

Option #1: Submit your request online through Tampa Connect.
Option #2: Call the Utilities Call Center at (813) 274-8811.

A final bill will be sent to you at your forwarding address. Please allow up to 5 business days for your request to be processed.

Please note that locations serviced by multiple utility providers will receive separate utility bills from each provider. For example, a location with water provided by the City of Tampa, and wastewater and solid waste serviced by Hillsborough County will receive two separate utility bills - one for water from the City of Tampa and another for wastewater and solid waste from Hillsborough County.

Please make sure to contact each utility service provider noted on each utility bill you receive to stop service, and avoid paying additional costs and fees after your move-out date.
