CRA COMMUNITY WORKSHOP

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

Date: Thursday, June 4, 2026

Time: 5:30 – 7pm

Location: Hillsborough Community College – Dale Mabry Campus

Student Services Building, Room 108

4001 W. Tampa Bay Blvd.

Tampa FL 33614

Agenda: Please contact Cedric McCray at (813) 274-8325 or

Cedric.McCray@tampagov.net

Purpose: To inform the community of a proposed policy and grant change that has come up since the April 22nd workshop and gather community feedback to share with the CRA Board during the approval process.

The Tampa Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) invites you to a community workshop to learn about a revised proposal for updates to CRA policy and the Commercial Development Grant. The proposed changes would require all Commercial Development Grant projects to include clearly identified community benefits. The update process is intended to improve transparency, strengthen accountability for funded projects, and better align grant investments with the priorities identified in the Community Redevelopment Plans (CRP) and Florida Statutes. Feedback gathered during the workshop will help inform the CRA Board’s consideration of the proposed updates.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act ("ADA") and Section 286.26, Florida Statutes, persons with disabilities needing a reasonable accommodation to participate in this public hearing or meeting should contact the City of Tampa's ADA Coordinator at least 48 hours prior to the proceeding. The ADA Coordinator may be contacted via phone at 813-274-3964, email at TampaADA@tampagov.net, or by submitting an ADA - Accommodations Request form available online at tampagov.net/ADARequest.
