For event details: Home - 19th Annual National BBCB Summit The 19th Annual National BBCB Summit will take place March 4-7, 2026. Staying true to our mission, BBCB – now known as: Believe. Build. Complete. Become. – remains deeply committed to advancing college completion and paving a smoother path to student success and has grown into a leading national event that is open to all students of any background. After 19 years, the Summit has been successful in attracting some of the most influential speakers and scholars to address barrier that affect persistence and completion among college students. A series of theme-based workshops on contemporary provide an important focus to the Summit, bringing together college students and practitioners to engage in dialogue about critical issues, sharing successful strategies and best practices. The 2026 Summit promises to be another exciting event featuring Blair Underwood at the Dr. Sylvia Marion Carley luncheon, with an additional eight nationally acclaimed speakers including Damola Adamolekun, Nigerian business executive and current chief executive officer of Red Lobster Investor Holdings as well as Mark Dean, former IBM computer engineer whose most notable accomplishments include co-creating the IBM personal computer released in 1981. Most importantly, BBCB creates unique opportunities and special student sessions for over 400 participants for over 150 educational institutions, and 800 community members attend.
