Please join the docents of the Sacred Heart Historical Society as they give you a verbal history and tour of the oldest Catholic church on Florida’s West Coast. Learn about the oldest, continually operational parish in central Florida, which dates to the pioneer days of Tampa. Then how in 1888, its congregation survived the tragic loss of three priests due to yellow fever. They then built one of the oldest structures in downtown Tampa.
