eBike Voucher Program
The eBike Voucher Program gives residents a chance to get up to $3,000 off a new eBike. It's like a lottery, where qualifying participants are selected to receive discounts. You can buy your eBike from one of seven local bike shops.
Since it started in 2023, the program has given out over 450 vouchers. This helps people get a safe and affordable way to travel without a car.
How to Apply
- The application window opens on Friday, February 13 at 8 AM and closes on Friday, February 27 at 5 PM.
- You can apply online at tampa.gov/ebike.
- You may also apply in person at one of four eBike Rodeo events.
- Applications are accepted at the City’s Parking Division offices located on the third floor of the Fort Brooke Garage, 107 N. Franklin Street.
About the Vouchers
This is not a free bike giveaway. Vouchers can be used to buy either:
- A Class 1 eBike (pedal-assist only)
- A Class 2 eBike (pedal and/or throttle-assisted)
- Adaptive eBikes for people with special needs
