THE ORGANIZATIONS BEHIND THE EVENT

Two missions. One shared invitation: Break the silence.

Pumpkin Smash the Silence & Holiday Market brings together Full Range Foundation and V.O.I.C.E.S. Against Sexual Assault to raise awareness of women’s mental health and help make meaningful support more accessible.

For Christy Hinnant and Emma Martin, this work is personal. Their experiences have shaped a shared commitment to helping people feel heard, understand their experiences, and move toward lives grounded in connection and purpose.

Christy Hinnant
Founder, Executive Director, President & Founding Board Member — V.O.I.C.E.S. Against Sexual Assault

Christy Hinnant is an eight-year U.S. Army veteran, sexual assault survivor, advocate, and mental health professional. After experiencing sexual assault while serving at Fort Jackson in 2005, she navigated the lasting effects of trauma and the challenges of finding effective support. Those experiences inspired her to create a place where survivors could receive compassionate care and find community.

Christy earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Carolina Greensboro and her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. In 2019, she founded V.O.I.C.E.S. Against Sexual Assault to help survivors find their voices and receive support throughout their healing journeys.

This fundraiser helps support a free 10-week program for V.O.I.C.E.S. participants.

Emma Martin
Vice President & Co-founder — Full Range Foundation
Transitional Life & Trauma Coach

Emma Martin brings lived experience as a military spouse, a background in ministry, and a commitment to helping service members, veterans, and spouses navigate personal and relationship challenges.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in Religion with a minor in Ministries and Ethics from Liberty University. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and working toward an International Coaching Federation credential.

Through Full Range Foundation, Emma helps people understand their strengths, values, beliefs, and experiences while identifying practical steps toward their goals. Her Christian faith informs her commitment to compassionate care, personal dignity, and purpose.

This fundraiser helps support free mental health coaching services for service members and spouses.
