The City of Tampa is engaging in a streets improvement project in the West Riverside Heights neighborhood as part of the Tampa M.O.V.E.S. initiative.  The study area is generally bounded by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd (north), N. Armenia Ave. (west), W. Tampa Bay Blvd (south), and Hillsborough River / N. River View Ave (east).  
The purpose of the project is to provide mobility choices, connect people to jobs and economic opportunities, create a healthy, sustainable, and resilient future, remove barriers and improve transportation for people who need it most, and increase public safety.  Additionally, this project will review roadway resurfacing needs and identify opportunities for implementing traffic calming measures and improving pedestrian and bicycle safety.
