Description
This project is for the design of 22nd St. and 26th St. as well as the construction of 22nd St./26th St./Bermuda Blvd roadway & seawall. This project will include the following: • Design of 22nd St. and 26th St. Complete Streets. • Reconstructing/replacing and amenitizing the existing seawall on Bermuda Blvd. including an 8 ft. wide seawall trail*. • Installation of backflow preventers at the seawall outfall pipes. • Implementation of Complete Streets concept to support the mobility needs of all along Bermuda Blvd. • Roadway resurfacing and narrowing travel lanes. • Installation of tree wells and bioswales along the roadway shoulders. • Connects to the proposed Green ARTery Perimeter Trail. * The design of Bermuda Blvd roadway and seawall will be completed using a separate project: TRANS20141 - Bermuda Blvd Complete Streets and Seawall project (https://www.tampa.gov/project/trans20141).
