Description

This project provides for street resurfacing, traffic calming and pedestrian infrastructure within the West Riverside Heights Neighborhood.

The City of Tampa is engaging in a street improvement project in the West Riverside Heights neighborhood as part of the Tampa M.O.V.E.S. initiative.  The study area is generally bounded by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd (north), N. The purpose of the project is to provide mobility choices, connect people to jobs and economic opportunities, create a healthy, sustainable, and resilient future, remove barriers and improve transportation for people who need it most, and increase public safety.  Additionally, this project will review roadway resurfacing needs and identify opportunities for implementing traffic calming measures and improving pedestrian and bicycle safety.
