Description
This is a subproject of the Hillsborough County Resurfacing Tax Project funded by the AFT Surtax Network Operating Fund. The project provides pavement resurfacing, pedestrian accessibility and safety improvements along the W Cypress street corridor, spanning approximately 1.9 miles from N Obrien st to N Himes Ave. This section of W Cypress is a collector roadway serving as a critical access route for the Tampa International Airport, Carver City Lincoln Gardens, North Bon Air, Midtown and Oakford Park neighborhoods. The project will include:
- Roadway resurfacing
- Improved pavement markings
- ADA pedestrian ramps
