Board Of Trustees

The General Employees' Retirement Fund is administered by a seven member Board of Trustees. Three trustees are elected by the City's active general employees, with the exception of employees who have entered the Deferred Retirement Option Program (DROP); three trustees are appointed by the Mayor; and the final trustee is the Chief Financial Officer of the City of Tampa. The Board of Trustees approves pension benefits and manages the assets of the General Employees' Retirement Fund.

The Board meets the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 1:30 pm. The meetings will be held at the JBL Tampa River Center, Multi-purpose Room, 402 W. Laurel St, Tampa, Florida 33607. Everyone is invited to attend, however, if you plan to attend, you must wear a face covering, and have picture identification; employees must have their city ID.
