Internal Audit

Internal Audit helps City of Tampa leadership understand whether their programs use resources properly and follow rules. The department develops an annual audit agenda that identifies which city operations will be reviewed. Any audit findings and recommended improvements are documented in audit reports. The work of Internal Audit supports accountability, risk reduction, and better management of city services. Internal Audit reports directly to the mayor.
