Idlewild Pumping Station Force Main Extension

The force main project extends the existing force main to discharge into a gravity system with additional capacity. The additional capacity is needed because the capacity of the upstream pumping station is being increased as part of another project. The increased capacity will prevent overflows that impact public health, safety, and the environment. The new force main will provide additional capacity for future development and lower energy costs of public and private pumping stations.
