Southbound lane closures on S Manhattan Avenue between W Leona and W Leona Streets begins February 26 for Utility Repair

Posted Date

On February 26 at 9am, Wastewater Department crews will close S Manhattan Avenue between W Leona and W Leona Streets to repair a sewer mainline pipe. Motorists are advised to merge into the inside northbound lane as they approach the work site and will be directed to merge back into the southbound lanes once past the work site. Turn restrictions will also be in place. Signage and traffic control devices will be in the area to assist with traffic flow. Access will be maintained for residences and businesses in the area. Motorists are advised to consider alternate routes and use caution when driving in the area.

The repair and restoration of the work area are scheduled to be completed no later than close of business on Friday, March 1. Normal traffic patterns will then resume. A map of the work area and lane shifts is embedded below. Work schedules are contingent upon weather conditions. See all road closures at www.tampagov.net/RoadClosures
