2022 Gasparilla Parade Information

One of the most popular attractions in Tampa is the annual Gasparilla Pirate Fest, which has been a tradition in Tampa since 1905.  Over 300,000 spectators are expected to line the streets to watch the Ashley Children's Gasparilla Parade presented by Chick-fil-A on January 22, 2022 and the Seminole Hard Rock Gasparilla Pirate Fest on January 29, 2022.  In order to accommodate the parades, many streets will be closed. This page will provide you event details, street closures, parade routes and other information that will help you enjoy the festivities safely.

11 a.m. -7 p.m.

FREE Jolley Roger Trolley -- Runs on a continuous loop, as it picks up and drops off event attendees at the intersections of both Platt Street and Bayshore Boulevard, as well as Bay to Bay Boulevard and Bayshore Boulevard.  

This event is free to the public. Reserved bleacher seating is available for the Ashley Children's Gasparilla, Presented by Chick Fil A Parade. 

Seminole Hard Rock Gasparilla Pirate Fest

Saturday, January 29, 2022
2-6 p.m.

This event is free to the public. Reserved bleacher seating is available for the Parade of Pirates. 

Neighborhood Parking Maps

In our efforts to be environmentally conscious, beginning in January 2022 the City of Tampa will no longer be mailing out individual neighborhood letters and parking maps for Gasparilla. Access to all Gasparilla-related information including street closures, timelines, and parking restrictions can be located using the buttons below. This new interactive feature allows residents to input their home addresses and access parking restrictions in their respective neighborhoods.

    Friday and Saturday:
    Jan. 21 - 12:01 a.m. - Jan. 22
    Jan. 28 - 12:01 a.m. - Jan. 29
    At this time, illegally parked vehicles may be ticketed and/or towed.
     One Way and Do Not Enter signs
  • One-Way and Do Not Enter Signs are Unveiled
    Friday:
    Jan. 21 - 2:00 p.m. - SIgn Removal
    Jan. 28 - 2:00 p.m. - Sign Removal
    At this time, you must obey the regulatory signs and continue to do so until they are removed by the City.
