The City of Tampa Mayor’s Hispanic Advisory Council is a group of Hispanic citizens, who are appointed by the Mayor, and who serve as a liaison between the City government and the Hispanic community.

The 813 Cafesito is a monthly event that advocates, educate, and inform the general public featuring local or national headliners each month on major topics that impact our Hispanic community.
The Latinos Unidos Scholarship Endowment Fund is designated for local Hispanic students with financial need attending Hillsborough Community College, the University of South Florida, or the University of Tampa.
The Developmental Acceleration for Latinos Education (DALE), was developed to inspire young Hispanic high school students to pursue a college degree, learn about different career paths, see how STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) is applied in corporate America, and understand the importance of diversity in the workplace.
Canastas de Amor
"Canastas de Amor" (Baskets of Love) project benefits senior residents of local Senior Living Apartments. Many of the residents are not able to leave the premises due to Covid-19 and other isolating limitations. Through your support we will provide each resident with a basket filled with toiletries, socks, and non-perishable food items.
