Since 1983, The Mayor’s Hispanic Advisory Council’s mission is to serve as a liaison between the city government and the Hispanic community. Our Latinos Unidos event is dedicated to opening new doors of opportunity for Latino youth in our community. The event highlights the influence and economic impact of Hispanics in the United States with an inspiring keynote speaker and recognition of a community leader and focuses on raising scholarship dollars to remove critical barriers to postsecondary education for Latino youth.
With support like yours, we have funded endowments at Hillsborough Community College, the University of South Florida, and the University of Tampa.
Did you know that COST is the number one reason students fail to enroll or complete a 4-year college degree? This year, Elias Torres, Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Drift, joins our efforts as the luncheon keynote speaker. Like you, Elias believes all children should have access to post-secondary education to achieve their American dream.
It is our pleasure to invite you to join us as a sponsor of the
2022 Latinos Unidos Scholarship Luncheon
