This project provides for safety improvements, traffic calming, and pedestrian facilities to establish a safe walking route to school.

Under Sulphur Springs Safe Routes to School program, the City of Tampa is proposing to enhance the safety and quality of the pedestrian routes along N 12th St from E Fairbanks St to E Yukon St.  Improvements will include new 5 ft wide concrete sidewalks along the east side of 12th St from E Seward St to N 13th St.  Intersection improvements will be installed at N 12th St and Fairbanks St, N 12th St and E Seward St, N 12th St and E Yukon St, N 11th St and E Yukon St, and N 13th St and E Seward St.
