After a two-year collaboration with scientists, community members, energy modelers, and city staff, the City of Tampa is thrilled to announce the highly anticipated release of Tampa's first Climate Action & Equity Plan.

The plan outlines 143 initiatives across 10 categories, including water, land use, and energy, that will allow the city to achieve its long-term goals of using cleaner energy and building resilient infrastructure. The plan addresses challenges posed by population growth and climate change.

Tampa's Climate Action & Equity Plan arrives on the heels of historic investments in clean energy solutions and resilient infrastructure made by Washington, DC, and the state of Florida.

The new initiative will be detailed on Friday, June 16, at 9:30 a.m. at the Loretta Ingraham Community Center located at 1611 N Hubert Ave in Tampa.
